Etihad Rail Reflects UAE Vision Through Innovative & Sustainable Engineering Solutions
(UAE – Dubai / Aug 2025) – In a strategic move that embodies the UAE’s forward-looking vision for a smarter and more sustainable future in transportation, His Highness/ Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai – may God protect him – participated in the first trial passenger journey of Etihad Rail on the route connecting the emirates of Dubai & Fujairah.
This landmark achievement marks a pivotal moment in the journey of sustainable mobility, connecting the emirates through a modern rail network that enhances connectivity, supports environmental sustainability, and contributes to reducing carbon emissions.
